Is Gorakhpur AIMS medical college better than Kolkata Medical college?

I will tell you about both the colleges first.
AIIMS Gorakhpur : AIIMS is the most prestigious institutions of medical sciences in India. Being from such an institution is a dream come true for all.
The advantages of this are:
- AIIMS tag for life
- Better facilities
- Great infrastructure
- Fees is very low and hence very affordable
The disadvantages are:
- Since it is new so not good mentors.
- Faculty not as well established like other institutes
KOLKATA MEDICAL COLLEGE: There are a number of benefits in studying there. Primarily they are:
- No service bonds like in Rajasthan, Haryana, etc.
- Minimum fees
- Maximum stipend
- Good infrastructure
- High patient load
- Less ragging
- Nice metro life
There are not any major disadvantages just that if you belong to north India the food might be a little disturbing thing only. Rest everything is great. You might also face challenges with language.
It is not possible to say which is better. Both the colleges have different advantages and disadvantages. I suggest you should take a seat wherever you get as the competition is constantly rising.

Hello student Medical College, Kolkata is more recommended by experts in comparison with Aiims gorakhpur as Medical College, Kolkata has scored 22nd ranked in medical colleges.
Kolkata Medical College was established in 1838 and Aiims Gorakhpur is a new college which become operational in 2019 with only 50 MBBS seats.
Median package received by Medical College, Kolkata graduate is around 6 LPA.
Admission is based on marks obtained in NEET entrance examination which is scheduled on 12 September 2021.
Cut off vary every year on various factors like level of questions in the examination total number of applicants and seats offered.
