No, a health information manager cannot work as a doctor in hospitals this is because the work of doctor and health information manager are at the same place but different. The doctor has to treat the patients where as the health information manager has to create and maintain the medical records of the patients in an organised manner. The health care information manager has also to manage for any medical enquiry.
