Hello,

As you have mentioned both the courses are good and now it depends on you that on what aspect are you comparing the two. Career wise both are quite similar. Jobs are available in both government and private sectors. The difference lies in the course of study that is agriculture deals with farming, food production, techniques involving farming. Professionals in agricultural jobs not only enhance food production with their ideas but also help to improve soil fertility. Horticulture deals with cultivation of vegetables, fruits, flower and tea. Now, the choice is yours.

Hope it helps.

Good luck.

Dear Aspirant ,

Well it depends on what it is you really like. Both have some promising futures actually. Being trained in understanding crops,

like you would in Agriculture, soil and land assessment, and so on will always be valued.

Horticulture focuses more on the plants themselves. You could take your degree into artistic realms like landscape design which can reap serious rewards.

Ask yourself what do you enjoy the most when it comes to everyday interaction. Think about who and where you will be spending the majority of your time. Either way, either of those degrees can open up a huge realm of possibilities.

Hope this information helps you ,

Thank you .
