Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) is a state-level exam conducted for admission of candidates to undergraduate and post-graduatecourses offered at variouscolleges of the Himachal Pradesh.

Admissions into the participating institutes are offered on the basis of marks scored by the candidate in 10+2 (Qualifying board exam), and JEE Main 2021 scores.

Those candidates who have qualifiedJEE Main 2021 , will be eligible for direct admissions.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Pharma in HPCET :
You must have passed or appeared in 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% marks and 49% for reserved category from a recognized Board or University with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following as third subject Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.

Important Dates for HPCET :
Availability of application form : 1st week of March 2021

Last date to submit the application form : 1st week of May 2021

HPCET 2021 Exam on 2nd week of May 2021

No Himachal Pradesh Technical University will conduct HPCET 2021 exam tentatively in the second week of May in offline mode. The authorities conduct HPCET f or admission into the B.Tech programmes offered by the participating institutes. HPCET 2021 application form release date will be tentatively in the first week of March. The HP CET is give for admissions for B.Tech courses not B.Pharma courses.
