I am not sure I understand your question but are you asking if you can attempt JEE Main without class 12? Not really as that is the eligibility. So diploma candidates will have to write JEE Main to appear for JEE Advanced but they cannot apply for admissions to NITs and IIITs. If you are appearing for class 12 then you can apply for JEE Main.
