see Ib stands for International Baccalaureate, Earlier it was known as the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). It is an international educational foundation established in the year 1968, which headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. however For Class XI – XII – DP or Diploma program is in IB board. its curriculum is different from cbse and it would takes times to accustomed to it. however IB is recognized by most of the world university. if you are planning to go abroad for higher studies it may benefits you. however the fees is quite higher compare to cbse. for indian education system and entrance exams and further higher studies cbse is best among other boards since its syllabus is taking as standard while comes to any competitive exam in India.

CBSE is more theoretical and examination driven while IB gives more hands-on and practical approach. CBSE does not take admissions in 11th standard in middle of the session. (can try if registration is not done in most of the school(will easily get it))
