Hey

For the preparation of Competitive exams like jee and aiims, I suggest you read CBSE books.

All the Best!!

Yes, if you have the right teachers in your school.

And a big no! If you don't.

See ICSE curriculum will shape your personality very well, and groom to be a level above CBSE students. No doubt there. But it will also, at some points hinder your focus towards exams like the JEE. And all this, when you have teachers in your school with knowledge to handle the ICSE curriculum. Because if your school lacks those teachers, then ICSE will be hell for you. Specially the literature.

It's not. Period.

Why? One of the main reason being, the subject English in the curriculum of ISC. To even get decent marks in English, you'll have to spend a significant amount of time. Which could have been spent elsewhere.

Secondly, the syllabus though almost same for PCMB, the order is different from what you see in CBSE books. This becomes a nuisance especially when you join a coaching institution. Because there, the topics are usually followed in order as they come in CBSE books. So that becomes a problem as well.

Lastly, you have to study NCERT books for things like Inorganic chemistry anyways, so you might as well take CBSE.

Hello,

CBSE syllabus is good for all competative exams. Most of the Competative exams questions based on CBSE curriculum.

CBSE is more focused towards science and mathematics with lots of attention paid to application of knowledge. CISCE (ICSE), on the other hand, is more balanced with equal focus on language, arts and science.

Hope it helps!!

Since cbse board conducts the jee mains exam so it is better to go for cbse in 12th as NCERT books are must to study for jee mains
