The highest salary package offered is 37 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 14 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 7 LPA. IIT kharagpur is one of best college in india and is considered among top 5 IITs. However the placement for mechanical engineering is best in IIT Madras followed by IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur and then IIT Kharagpur. But still the placement is good in IIT Kharagpur too with highest package ranging from 35-40 LPA and average being around 15 LPA.
