Through IIT madras can we get jobs in ?

Aerospace here has nearly 50+ members and there is a huge competition in them for branch change. Interns takes place in 2nd year. The Department selects top cg students to intern at DRDO .They select nearly 15–20 students. The rest students have to try their own interns. In 3rd year it sends the 10 students out of rest students . If u r core aspire u have struggle a bit for placement u need to have high cg >8.5 for good placement in Aerospace.It is a brand iit, though placement on paper is around 40% but it's a branch with good research scope and if you pursue gate from any of good iits or you enter into the research sector you will have a good package of around 20-25L/annum.

If you want to get job in ISRO, it's better to go to IIST through your jee advanced score rather than going to iit madras. It's not like that you won't get job in isro through iit madras .but pursuing btech in aerospace from IIST will definitely help you getting a good job in ISRO.
