Humanities students can also get admissions in prestigious university like IIT through HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES EXAMINATION OR 'HSEE' exam. Students of class 12th can directly apply to this entrance exam to secure seat in it. At IIT Bombay, students undertake BS ECONOMICS after giving JEE ADVANCED examination.

As per information of IIT's, BA economics course is not offered by it.
