IIVM college of optometry is the first and only institute in India to offer a full-time, residential program for optometrists. The curriculum includes both clinical and academic courses. IIVM has been accredited by the National Board of Examinations (NBA) since 2002.

MGR University is a private university located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It was established in the year 2011 by MGR Educational Trust and it is affiliated to Anna University. The university offers courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
