Is income certificate is necessary for counseling?

Yes , income certificate is a necessarily needed document at the time of document verification.income certificate is issued by the state government confirming your  family's actual income.

The list of documents needed is as follows:

• Hall ticket of GATE/GPAT/AP PGECET 2019
• Rank Card of GATE/GPAT/AP PGECET 2019
• SSC, Intermediate, Diploma/Degree Marks Memo
• Study Certificate for class 10 to Graduation
• Residence certificate for preceding 7 years from the qualifying exam i.e. Graduation in respect of candidates who have private study without any institutionalized education (Aadhar card/ House hold card)
• Integrated Community Certificate issued by the competent authority in case of BC/SC/ST candidates
• Residence certificate of father or mother for a period of 10 years in A.P excluding the period of their employment outside A.P from M.R.O in case of candidates who studied outside the state of A.P
• Income Certificate issued by MRO issued after 1st January of the year of admission [valid for three years from the date of issue] (in case the candidate desires to claim fee exemption)/ House hold card (white)/ Ration Card
• Transfer Certificate

If a candidate is eligible for the fee waiver in the institute ,then for a proof income certificate and ITR(Income Tax Return) is required stamped by the respective authority.

And if you are not eligible for the fee waiver then there is no need of the income certificate.
