Hey geeta, Greetings!!
Yes , information given in NCERT is sufficient. It is also advised to the students appearing for the medical exam to consider the NCERT books of Class 11 and 12 as the bible. Most of the questions in the computer based test are asked on the basis of NCERT concepts. AIIMS MBBS subject experts also recommend students to prepare and strengthen their NCERT concepts and formulas before moving towards other study materials.
Moreover , you must do previous years question paper and mock test (weekly).
all the best!!
Hi Geeta Yadav !
It is really good if you have thoroughly memorized and learnt from your NCERT books as it forms the basis of many entrance exams be it medical or even for that matter engineering .As far as AIIMS or the All India Institute of Medical Science Entrance is considered it is one of the premier institutes for doing your MBBS from is considered and hence the level of entrance exam is also of very high standards which also requires a lot of hard work and determination and also consistent revisions and practice and by merely going though NCERT books will not make your way though AIIMS entrance exam. Also remember that these text books are only basis for your studies and totally depending on them will not be a good idea as they do not have sufficient reference material for the students. Yes it is true that they define your course content but surely they are not sufficient to incorporate all the topics to their core.
