Is INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) a vocational subject for HSC Maharashtra 12th? Can we replace Chemistry marks with IT for the 50% aggregate criteria for engineering?

Hello,

The eligibility criteria for MHT CET is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Technical or Vocational subjects from a recognized board or University. For general candidates they must have passed with atleast 50% aggregate and for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Disabled Persons it is 45% in the above mentioned subjects.

IT is not a vocational subject, it is a technical subject.

hi,

see in most of the joint entrance examinations,  it is mentioned that candidates need to secure 50% marks in aggregate in physics, chemistry and mathematics  in 10+2 course, however you need to check the official website or information brochure before applying to any exam or institute.

hope it would help.
