See if you are going for BSc Food technology then just after your BSc its quite hard to get a job and if you have internship that way then you get some advantages. Now for BTech Food Technology many freshers are also recruited so its not mandatory but if you see the industrial needs then if you have an internship experience then you get a better chance over many other candidates. So if you can try to do an internship in your 3rd or 4th year in order to have a better chance of getting a job.
