Is it a good choise to buy Apple MacBook Air M1 8gb ram 256 gb rom for civil engineering in IIT'S or NIT's? Is it enough or should I go for 512 gb?Can it run all required stuff for civil engineering as it doesn't have graphics Card? I have enough money to buy it

You don't need the 512 storage variant. 256 gb is enough to serve your purpose. So you can definitely buy MacBook Air M1 with 8gb RAM and 256gb storage. It's good that you have money and you can buy 512gb variant but it's overkill. So, it's upto you. The Laptop you have chosen is great. Don't overthink on this one just go for it. Also, about graphics card there is always an integrated graphics card present in the CPU of your laptop. The integrated GPU of the M1 processor that you want to get is pretty decent.
