Hey!
I presume you'll be appearing for NEET next year,
Keeping that in mind I would suggest don't give up hope right away! Try for a Government Seat in a Medical College. There are many advantages of doing that.
1]Greater clinical exposure
2]Highly subsidised fee
3]Better teaching and competitive crowd

A lot of students who don't get a GMC at the first go face this dilemma. While taking a seat in Pvt College is an option only for the privileged, I've seen many of them repeating, for it is worth it!
Lest, if you feel that waiting is not worth the while keeping in mind the long journey ahead, it is a good option.

KMC (my POV)
For those opting private medical colleges, KMC is a much sort after option. Manipal though is more preferred than Mangalore in this case.
If you were to pay 50L for admission in KMC Mangalore, I'd suggest DY Patil Mumbai, NKPSIMS Nagpur as a better option because of better faculty, exposure and connectivity.

All the best for the choice you make!

I would say better to try for Govt colleges first and keep KMC as a secondary choice but yes, this is a very good college to pursue MBBS so spending 50L for this would not be disappointing you in future. Apart from this, there is nothing declared for NEET 2018 KMC cut off but in previous year the closing rank was 22466 which means 510+ marks would be required. So plan and prepare very hard so that you can easily get your goal accomplished.

Hope this helps!!!
