Depending on your score this year you must decide if you can crack Mains next year. If you are unsure about your next attempt, you may get admitted to KIIT. However, it is expensive and if you are opting for core branch and expecting a core placement from KIIT, look out for other options.

if you are really passionate about studies and want to do b.tech than it is fine. and althrough 14598 is not a bad score. and kiit is a good college, with good infrastructure and placement opportunity. see btech is a 4 years course. and you are really interested in engineeirng than join it. the decision is yours.
