Dear student,

There is a thinking that - you will not get a good placements or quality and you will ruin your future life if you take admission in private colleges. And in 70% cases it is true. But not every Private college are bad. There are many private colleges that ahve made their reputation and the rankers take admission in it, and they are considered even better than the government colleges.

Take example of BITS. Bits is one of the most deemed institution, where there is no reservation, only rankers get admission. In recent years, the cases had been seen that many jee advanced rankers leave their seats for BITS PILANI.

Come to RV COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, which is the top private college in Banglore. Only the comedk rank holders get admission here. The highest package goes around Rs. 50 lakh per annum, which is not seen in many government colleges. Also BMS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING is a good one.

Let's consider one more example - IEM KOLKATA.
This reputed institution has it's name all over on India. The students who have secured good ranks in wbjee can get admission in here.

So, there are many good private colleges having many high placements and high average packages. They don't have to advertise themselves in newspaper or at any tv channels ( like kalinga institute, cv raman, vit, srm, amity, etc).

In private college like kalinga institute, cv raman, vit , srm, etc. the fees is abruptly very high and the college is also not upto the mark. Here in these there are 99.9% chances that you will ruin your future and career amd you will not get good jobs. If you will get, then your annual package will be less than the one year fees of these colleges ( on the basis of avg package ).

So, overall my conclusion is - not all private colleges are bad. In India there are some top private colleges that are at an exceptional level which are more outstanding than government colleges. And some of these private college always take the rankers and therefore their results automatically make the name of these institutions amd they don't have to worry about any kind of advertising (like kalinga or vit or srm). Otherwise many private colleges are below average.

That's why Students rather prefer government college rather than private. Because in government colleges many rankers come. There are good placements than other private colleges.
