Is it best nit for mechanical engineering?
Hi dear,
Hope you are doing well!
Now let's go through your question.
Here's the top 5 NITs ranked according to Mechanical Branch:
- National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli
- National Institute of Technology, Warangal
- National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal
- National Institute of Technology, Calicut
- National Institute of Technology, Rourkela
Definitely NIT-R is also good as NIT, Rourkela is ranked 2nd(overall) among all the NIT colleges in India. The placements for mech branche are excellent. They are going with handsome packages. There are core, software, PSU, Analytics companies coming in plenty.
Thank You & All the best!
Hey !
As i can see that you have tagged NIT rourkela , so you want to know whether NIT rourkela is best for mechanical engineering or not. Then the answer is no , it is not best for mechanical engineering. Also , it is not counted in top 5 NITs for mechanical engineering .
Yes , but is undoubtedly a good college for NITs. Faculty is quite cool and understanding. You can also take part in extracurricular activities here. It is good in placements also .. Even sometimes , the placement percentage of students in mechanical engineering is more than that of CSE. Yes , but the packages offered are lower than CS.
and the only thing that you may not like is male female ratio. There are hardly 2 girls per 120 boys. So , you can think how hard it is there .
Hope it helps!
