Hello,
Today we are living in a period of time when most of the things are data driven and its only going to go further. We are moving in a generation where most of the works will be based on Artificial Intelligence.
Companies now want candidates who possess some extra knowledge and potential. Although if you can secure admission in any IIT or NIT then even with CSE you can get a whoppingly handsome package. But if the question is not about only money then only thing remains is interest. You need to have a ver deep interest in AI if you want to pursue it as a career. In the job market, the demand of AI graduates has increased significantly over the years and hence many candidates are interested in it. A major thing that needs to be understood is that Artificial Intelligence is a part of Computer Science. The theories and practices of computer science are used for developing Artificial Intelligence Systems.
AI itself is one of many fields in Computer Science and AI is one of the discipline belonging to CS.
CSE consists of a variety of topics, like analysis of algorithms, programming languages, design, software and computer hardware. For CSE graduates there are many opportunities such as software developers, network engineers, system analyst, database administrator etc.
On the other hand, Artificial intelligence is a specialisation which is based on deep learning, machine learning, artificial intelligence.
With CSE, you have many opportunities and later on you can do PG in AI from any other college and that's the best option i would suggest to you.
Try to get admission in any top college for CSE.
I hope this helps.
