Is it compulsory for a student to join army after completing their respective medical course if he is a student of AFMC?

No, it is not mandatory to enlist in the military after finishing your MBBS at AFMC. There are multiple alternatives available. If you choose to pay the bond and decide to depart after completing your MBBS, you will need to complete your internship at a civilian medical college. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to prepare for and take your PG exams right away.

Armed Force Medical College trains students into medical professional so that they can join the army and work for the nation after completion of the course.

So, yes it is compulsory for any candidate to join army after completion of course in AFMC.
