Is it compulsory to choose non medical in class 11 to be a software engineer?

To become Software Engineering, you are required to take PCM but you can also take medical as a addtional subject. It means PCMB( Physics, Chemistry, Math, Biology). Through this stream you can take JEE Mains for Engineering & NEET for Medical.
