Yes NEET is compulsory for all those students who wish to study in various medical colleges across India for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS and BHMS fir government and private colleges must.



AIIMS and JIPMER will hold their own entrance exams

separate MBBS entrance examinations are only held for AIIMS and jipmer right now where is the NEET UG examination serves as a common entrance to all other MBBS and BDS institutions teaching medical and dental sciences is also the other courses like BAMS, BHMS veterinary sciences and other forms of alternative medicine

If you want to get into BMS then you need to score in excess of 320 to 350 out of 720 to get into a good Ayurvedic medical college so that you can practice that form of alternate medicine as your career the cutoffs keep varying but usually a score in excess of this will get you to a decent college of your choice in the stream you have mentioned
