Is it compulsory to have 50% in pcmb for getting admission in engineering
Hi aspirant, Different engineerin admission entrance have different requirement. For Jee mains you need atleast 75% in boards and for SC/ST then you need alteast 65%, also you can be in top 20 percentile of your respective boards. As you are below 75% then go for BArch. , they require 50 % in mathematics, physics and chemistry.
It truly depends on college to college. But most of the time the passing criteria is more than 50% in aggregate of PCM/B subjects and to pass each subject individually. Now if you consider your admission through JOSSA counselling then preferably the criteria for that is 75% aggregate. For reserved category it is 65% aggregate. Hope you find it useful.
Thank you.
Different engineering admission entrances have different criterias for class 12 boards marks. For Jee mains you need to have minimum 65 %in boards for reservation category and 75% for general category to be eligible. Also you can be in top 20 percentile of your respective board.
