is it compulsory to join the college that is alloted in second extended round in kcet
Dear Student,
- yes you will have to join the college allotted to you in second extended round , otherwise legal action will be initiated against such candidate in accordance with law, this is stated in the brochure of kcet , read it carefully.
however some students do cancel their the seat allotted, you need to cancel the seat , for which you will have to pay the required amount which is around rupees 5,000 .if you do not cancel the seat you will not be able to appear in the upcoming rounds which will be conducted by Kcet. so, if you are planning to cancel the seat visit the official website/ helpline number or take help of any official from college to know if its possible.
note - be careful , its better to take the seat allotted now, however if you are sure to get a better college so do talk to officials from present college to know if you can cancel the seat or not because no one can guide you better than them. HOWEVER IN BROCHURE DOING SO IS NOT ALLOWED , READ THE BROCHURE CAREFULLY.
Dear student,
No. It is not compulsory to join in 2nd round allotted college, you will be able to change your choices after the mock allotment is declared. You will be able to check your allotment in online mode by logging in using your KCET registration number. There is a two rounds of allotments after 2nd round, that are second extend round and special round will be conducted in that particular website itself.
Also you can download the provisional allotment letter and print out that. Then you can report your last allotment of college or institute. The choices filling after last special round is fixed, you can’t change after locking the preferences. All of the choices are fixed then the higher authority will check and give you one college based on merit and category wise.
After completion of special round you don’t have another to choice filling and seat allotment..etc. you can must join in allotted college itself otherwise you can go to payment seat only if you want.
Hope this is helpful to you,
Thank you.
