is it compulsory to so masters after baslp
Dear student,
I hope you are safe and doing well.
BASLP is Bachelor's in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. It's a paramedical course which comes under the Rehabilitation Council of India.
It is not at all compulsory to pursue masters after completing your UG from BASLP. But doing a Master's Degree or any other higher study will help open up more better lob projects. Like Master in Public Health nowadays is a very good course for various health related professionals. MPH after BASLP will be a good decision as you may relate to your course and will be easy for you to cope. Public Health sector has a broad scope.
But it's totally up to you to pursue PG degree or not.
I hope you find it useful.
But if you wish to go for higher studies then doing Master's in the same field will be really helpful. Masters in Audiology and Speech Language Pathologists are sometimes recruited by Medical Colleges, can also be a part of Human Resource Development in various training and research centres specialising in disability sectors. You can also get opportunity to work as Lecturer in various Institutes.
