KCET stands for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET).This exam is conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).It is conducted for determining the eligibility for admission of Karnataka candidates and the wards of Jammu & Kashmiri migrants, to the first year/ first semester of full time courses of government colleges in Karnataka. You should have qualified with Physics and Mathematics ascompulsorysubjects. You should have one of these as an optional subject: Chemistry /Bio-Technology /Biology/ Electronics / Computer Science. You should have English as one of the languages of study.
Hi,
No it's not compulsory to write Biology in KCET if you are an engineering aspirant. If you write PCM, then you'll get an engineering rank for seat in an engineering college. Also, if you want to do MBBS, then you need not write PCB, since NEET has been made compulsory.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
