NEET PYQ's & Solutions: Physics | Chemistry | Biology
Hello aspirant,
The total no. of questions in NEET are 180 in the form of MCQ's . There are four marks awarded for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
There are 4 subjects : Physics -45 ques , Chemistry - 45 ques , Botany - 45 ques and Zoology -45 ques.
Now if you will attend only Biology , the total no. of ques will be 45+45 = 90 . The total marks from which you will be scored 90*4 = 360. But the max. marks is 720. Plus you will get negative marking also somewhere if some of your ques get wrong ....so the total marks and rank would decrease drastically.
For getting a seat you need atleast above 450 . So it is better to attend questions from all subjects. Prepare and go for it . Just give your best.
Hope this helps!
This ebook serves as a valuable study guide for NEET exams, specifically designed to assist students in light of recent changes and the removal of certain topics from the NEET exam.
NEET exam has 3 sections. Physics has 45 MCQs, Chemistry has 45 MCQs and Biology has 90 MCQs. Every correct answer gets you 4 marks and a wrong answer takes away 1 mark in the form of negative marking. Now there is no sectional cut off in NEET. So you can actually write skip questions that you do not know the answer for. Now if you are asking if you can only attend Biology section, yes you can. Biology is for 360 marks and even if you get them all correct without negative marking, you will still find it difficult for a seat in MBBS even under Reserved Category depending on your State. And that is why you may have to consider preparing for Physics and Chemistry too to score few additional marks and put yourself in a comfortable position for Counselling.
