Earlier, this used to be the case; however, today the medical fraternity has greatly accepted the skills a physiotherapist offers. Now most hospitals, clinics and health centres employ physiotherapists and understand the benefits of their therapy. Among non-medicos also, physiotherapy is a widely accepted mode of treatment.
