Dear Aspirant,
If you are asking about civil services then NO that is not easy. To give you a simple picture, around 4.5 lakh aspirant appear every year for around 400-500 seats. That might be enough to show ho fierce the competition is. The next thing is the vastness of the syllabus, the syllabus is so vast that it will take around one year to familiarize with the syllabus.
UPSC demands dedication and that too for two years. You have to follow a strict study routine for 2 years as a religion to get succeed.
