It depends on your performance and knowledge of software engineering subjects to get successful in the paper of campus recruitment. Studying a specific branch in M.tech and choosing to parallely study completely different branch takes a lot of time and determination. This dilemma happens with most of the engineering students and only very few succeed to get past this hurdle. Also software field is continuously changing and keeping update with so many programming languages is a complex task. You can decide if you can do it or not.
