Is it hard to get a job for a student who did aerospace engineering in private Universities
Hello...
Thanks for contacting Careers360.
Getting into Aerospace Engineering is not hard provided that you have a good foundation of it from your school, such as high grades in maths and physics and or applied sciences and Engineering.
The common aerospace industry consists of 3 mains; Research and Design, Manufacturing and Maintenance. For research and design, you need to ensure that you focus on achieving high in all the modules required. For manufacturing you need both hands on practical skills and high grades in a number of modules.
For maintenance, you need to go through one of FAA approved programmes which you can either before college or after, depending on whether you are looking to add on to your qualifications.
Getting into the AE industry after college can be extremely easy, depending on what your expectations are in terms of salary and whether you are willing to work voluntarily at first to gain the required experience.
Most Aerospace Engineering companies offer internship and graduateship which are designed for right out/inbetween of college to teach the experience required in such an industry So always take a look at these as well.
Hope this information is helpful:)
