Is it legal to do two degree courses at the same time in India?

See you can two degrees but both of them can't be a regular degree. As per UGC guidelines, you can do only one degree at a time in regular format. If you want to learn anything else along with your regular degree course then you can do a Distance degree course/ certification course/diploma course.

Can a person carry on 2 master like one from regular and other from distance with that any certificate or diploma course from any other distance University

Can I do diploma and hs same time
I'm doing regular b. Ed from one university and distance ma from other university but the problem is the the years are same that is 2021 to 2023 so will the two degrees would be valid? Should I continue or not?

UGC has approved to pursue two degrees at the same time in India, a student is allowed to pursue the two different degrees either of same stream or different streams, the only condition is that one of the degree should be pursued from regular mode and other from distance learning.

jain university is providing online courses now and it is said that they do not come under distance learning though they are completely online
so is that ok to pursue one in online and other the in regular
so is that ok to pursue one in online and other the in regular

Hi,
UGC has approved a proposal to allow students to pursue two degree programmes at the same time.
One of the degree has to be in regular mode and the other in open or distance learning mode. A student can pursue two different degrees in different streams and from different institutions.
