Hello,
To participate in Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling or Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) counselling a candidate must have qualified in JEE Main by scoring the minimum cut off percentile specified by National Testing Agency (NTA). The cut off percentile is different for each category. So it is mandatory to score minimum cut off percentile to qualify in JEE Main. Last year the cut off percentile was as follows
- General: 90.3765335
- EWS: 70.2435518
- OBC-NCL: 72.8887969
- SC: 50.1760245
- ST: 39.0696101
- PWD: 0.0618524
In 2021 the cut off percentile is expected to be as follows
- General 90-95
- EWS/OBC-NCL: 70-75
- SC: 50-55
- ST: 40-45
- PWD:1-2
Cut off depends on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. It may increase or decrease depending on these factors.
