is it mandatory to upload the documents in the first round if i slide my allocated seat?

Dear student,
As you have not mentioned the counseling name or any exam name that you have given, so, I am assuming that you are asking your query about josaa counselling.
Now, If you got alloted any seat in josaa round counseling, then you must have to upload the documents.
In the josaa official site under the section of INSTRUCTION TO CANDIDATES it is clearly written that :-
If you got any seat then either you do slide or float or freeze, then for confirmation of seat you must have to upload the documents and the Pay the Seat Acceptance Fee (Rs. 35,000 for GEN, GEN-EWS and OBC-NCL, and Rs. 15,000 for SC, ST and PwD Candidates) before the deadline date.
Failure to follow any steps before the deadline date will lead to the cancellation of seat.
