Is it necessary to complete MBBS course for government doctor job
Hi Nitin, yes it is necessary to complete MBBS course in order to apply for government doctor post. There are many exams after completing MBBS which allows to get to that job, like, giving NEET PG exams and getting top ranks get you a chance to be Armed Forces colleges after which you can be part of Defence stream hospitals. You can pursue Medical UPSC, which helps in becoming chief medical officer under central government. Even there are exams of state government to become medical officer at state gov hospitals. All these require a candidate to clear MBBS degree.
Dear Nitin, just not for working as a Government Doctor but even to work as a Doctor in a Private Hospital setting, you need to complete MBBS and should be registered with Medical Council of India or the State Medical Council. You cannot practise without license and any deviation from that is illegal and contempt of law mounting to imprisionment.
