Hello there,
Listen, it depends upon Institution most of the Institution giveS admission on the bases of only marks scored in JEE mains . for Instance Universities like Jamia Hamdard , Jamia millia Islamia , several colleges in Utter Pradesh affiliated by Abdul Kalam Technical University takes admission on bases of JEE Main Score.
But if you wants to join Top Institutions Like Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) ,NIT then JEE Advance is also becomes compulsory .
Hope this Information will help.
Thank you :)
Hello aspirant,
You will only be eligible to give JEE Advanced exam, after qualifying the JEE Mains exam. If you don't qualify the mains exam, you won't be eligible to give the advance exam.
If you wish to do your Btech in IITs, the advance exam is a must. However, if you wish to join in any NITs or private universities, it is not that important to give the JEE Advance exam.
Hope it helps !
Good luck, Thank you :)
If you qualify jee mains and not appear for jee advance then you cannot get admission into IIT's but you can appear for the counselling session and get admission into NIT, IIIT's and GFTI's based on your jee mains marks.
But JEE Advanced is required for admission into Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
Hi aspirant,
No it is not at all mandatory to appear for JEE advanced examination after JEE main. The JEE advanced examination is the gateway for admission into into IIT colleges across the India while JEE main is conducted to offer admission into NIT, IIIT and GIFT colleges. Also there is no major eligibility criteria for writing JEE main examination apart from having physics chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects while for writing JEE advanced examination one needs to have cleared the cutoff of JEE main.
Hope it helps!
