Hi.

Admission process of every college is different. According to JOSAA Business rules, for a candidate taking admission through a reserved seat a Certificate of category (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/GEN-EWS), if applicable, as per Government of India format, available on the JoSAA-2020 website, issued by the competent authority is mandatory.

However, if you have been asked to present an income certificate by the officials and it is a required document then you should present it while taking admission.

Good Luck
