Hello viji ,

Yes it is necessary for you to submit your caste related documents to JEE authority ,

because if you are in OBC NCL category it will help you get your rank in that category ,

else you'll be considered in open/general category.

I suggest you to submit these documents as soon as possible before due date.

Yes, Of course it is mandatory to submit your obc ncl category certificate within due date if you want to get admission in any college through your category rank.It is to be in proper format as prescribed by JEE.
