Hello dear aspirants,
By reading only the NCERT chemistry thoroughly you can score 40/120 about 10 questions you will directly face from the NCERT only.& don't do this mistake by avoiding the following chapters from NCERT like Biomolecules, Polymers, etc because of a very easy question come from those chapters & very easy to start your paper from those questions. As a JEE aspirant, you must aware of a single mark also because of 1 mark difference would result in a big difference in your rank.
Thanks
All the best.
You must include your NCERT books for your JEE preparation, especially for the chemistry section.Chances are there that you might get direct questions from the chapters polymers, biomolecules and chemistry in everyday life. And for inorganic chemistry,it is very important to be thorough with the topics covered in the text book. So,preparation from NCERT text book is essential and also it will give you the basics for your preparation from other reference books.
Hello Avinash,
Going through only NCERT books for chemistry won't fetch you marks. You need to make efforts as in you have to refer to reference books as well. I would suggest you to focus more on organic chemistry, coordination compounds, electrochemistry, s p d f block elements; these are some of the important topics. Also, here's a list of some reference books you can go through:
- Organic chemistry by OP Tondon
- ABC of Chemistry: Modern Publications
Good luck!!
Hope this will help you good luck
