It is crucial to review your college's attendance policy and discuss your situation with an academic advisor or counsellor. They can provide guidance on whether attending college 3 days a week would meet the attendance requirements and if there are any alternative options available to you. Also, consider how missing classes might impact your understanding of course material and academic performance. Ultimately, ensuring that you meet your academic obligations while balancing other responsibilities is essential for your overall success in college.
In college, attendance is calculated based on the percentage of days a student is present during the semester, which is 6 months long. If we exclude Sundays and public holidays, students will get approximately 108 working days. Out of which 75% is equal to 81 days. So, it will be difficult for you to cover 75% by attending lectures 3 days a week. However, missing 1-2 days in a week on average works out to cover 75%. But it is advisable to attend as many lectures as possible to avoid missing that many days.
Hello Aspirant,
Let me tell you that if you are persuing a degree program in which the entire course duration is divided into semester of 6 months, you have to attend approximately a total of 108 days classes per semester excluding all sundays and public holidays.
So in order to gain 75% attendance, you have attend 75% of 108 days classes ie., 81 days classes to maintain 75% attendance.
That means you can miss approx 2 days classes in order to meet the required percentage .
Hope it helps..!
Good Luck..!!
