There are many students who take an year gap after graduation to prepare for MBA entrance examination and then clear it with flying colours and make it to their dream the B-school ,also there are many who go for job after their graduation and after 2-3 years ,they go for MBA so you don't need to worry at all about your one year gap after graduation.

********** Then you have to go through WAT i. e written ability test/GDi. e group discussion/PI i. e personal interview, and then you are finally selected for admission on the basis of performance in these rounds  , percentile score in CAT/MAT etc, academic profile like percentage of marks obtained by you in  class 10th, 12th and graduation and work experience.
