there is not any compulsory rule to attempt both the jee main paper 1 and paper 2

the candidates those who want to go in the stream of engineering those candidates can apply for the jee mains paper 1

and the candidates those who want to go in the stream of architecture those candidates can apply for the jee mains paper 2

and those who are interested in both the papers to attempt they can apply for the both the papers jee mains paper 1 and as well as paper 2
