UPSC exam is done in 2 phases namely prelims and mains. Those who qualify in prelims will write mains exams. Those who are selected in mains will appear for Final interview. Prelims is a pen and paper based objective type question paper. Mains is a written exam with subjective type of questions. Interview is a personality test.
