To correct your name on a CBSE marksheet or certificate, you need to gather the original marksheet with the incorrect name, a document proving your correct name (Birth Certificate, Aadhaar, etc.), and a notarized affidavit explaining the reason for correction. Download the CBSE "Application for Correction in Name/Date of Birth" form, fill up all the details, attach the required documents, and submit it to the relevant CBSE Regional Office along with the prescribed fee. The process usually takes 4-6 weeks, after which you will receive the corrected marksheet as per CBSE's instructions.
Gather the Necessary Documents: Ensure you have the original marksheet with the incorrect name, as well as a document proving your correct name, such as a Birth Certificate, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, School Leaving Certificate, or an Affidavit explaining the reason for the name correction.
Download the Application Form: Visit the CBSE website to download the Application for Correction in Name/Date of Birth in Marksheet/Certificate form.
Accurately Fill Out the Form: Provide all the required information, including your full name, roll number, year of passing, examination name, subject code and name, and details of the correction needed.
Attach the Necessary Documents: Include the original marksheet, proof of correct name, and the notarized affidavit with the application form.
Submit the Application: Send the completed form and attached documents to the CBSE Regional Office in your area through in-person submission, registered post, or speed post.
Pay the Required Fee: Make sure to pay the prescribed fee for name correction, usually around Rs 500, and refer to the CBSE website for the most up-to-date fee information.
Wait for Processing: CBSE will review your application and documents, with processing typically taking 4-6 weeks. However, the timeline may vary based on the complexity of your case.
Receive Corrected Marksheet: Upon approval, you will be notified to collect the corrected marksheet from the Regional Office or receive it by post according to the instructions provided.

Hello,
Unless they acquire a court order to do so, the CBSE Board will not alter the date of birth shown in the CBSE records. If you have a real birth certificate with your actual date of birth listed that differs from the date listed in the CBSE record, the court will simply make the same decision.
If you have a birth certificate, you can modify your date of birth in your CBSE record, but you must first notify CBSE that you want to change it and include a copy of your birth certificate. They won't stay the same, though. After that, file a civil lawsuit in the lower court with civil jurisdiction and ask the judge to issue an order instructing the board to make the adjustment.
You can also try this method but not 100% sure about this - To modify the date of birth on the 10th mark sheet or to create duplicate mark sheets with the new date of birth, you must submit an application to the RBSE or CBSE and attach a birth certificate issued by a municipal official.
Thank You
