So the important points to be noted are :

1. BITSAT is more about speed than its toughness level. So start doing 1 paper every day and check where you went wrong. This will take you about 5 hours a day. You must be thinking why 5 hours?? -3 hours for doing the paper and 2 hours of analysis. Remember analysis is most required. Without analysis your entire work is wasted and you will not be able to improve.
2. For English, reading articles is not boring, I suppose. “Logical reasoning is one thing you can’t develop” is what most people say, but I feel that solving questions on ‘sequence and series’ can be of great help. It can sharpen your mind immensely.

Unlike JEE, CAT, UPSC, and other competitive exams, BITSAT does not have dedicated coaching centres. One reason is that BITSAT preparation is often looked at as a part of JEE preparation. While the subjects PCM are common to these exams, the question pattern is not the same. Additionally, you have a section for English and LR.

• Mock Test & Previous Year Papers: Cracking BITSAT is not a rocket science! Similarly, the ones who actually do it need not have an IQ of 160. BITSAT is more about exam-readiness which can be perfected only by getting acquainted and used to the exam pattern and style. Taking mocks tests and solving previous year papers will help you exactly analyse what you can expect in the actual exam. You also get insights on your strengths and weaknesses so you can improve upon them.

• English and LR: You’ll be surprised to see how incredibly you can benefit from this section provided you allot time to its preparation. It contains 75 marks! You can easily bag 1/6th of the total score simply by going through some basic grammar rules and LR practice. Give this section its due credit.
