JEE Mains is the first step to get a seat at IITs across India. If you ace JEE Mains, then only you can appear for JEE Advanced. The syllabus of JEE Mains and JEE Advanced include Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics of Class 11th and 12th. So you need to be thorough with both 11th and 12th syllabus.
Go through the previous years papers to understand the pattern and solve them. Make a proper time table and stick to it. Practice through mock tests. Work on improving your concepts.

Hello Aspirant,No, you can't crack JEE Main and Advanced only on the basis of 12th Class only.If possible you can just cross JEE Mains Cutoff on the basis of 12th class, but you can't get admission in NIT's on the basis of 12 th class syllabus only. Taking about Advanced, JEE Advanced it is a very tough exam, you can't crack Advanced also if you study 11-12 only board level as its syllabus is quite different from Board Syllabus. But in JEE Mains if you study 11-12 upto board level you can crack it.
Hi there,
Since the syllabus of jee mains is based on both 11 and 12 syllabus, hence the question do not come directly there are many questions in which both the 11 and 12 knowledge is required. So you can not clear jee mains or advance just on the basis of 12 syllabus.
I hope this help
