Hi.
YES it is possible to pursue M.Sc in Radiotherapy.
M.Sc Radiotherapy technology is a 2 year post-graduate Science program. Radiotherapy, also called radiation therapy, is the treatment of cancer and other diseases with ionizing radiation. Ionizing radiation deposits energy that injures or destroys cells in the area being treated (the “target tissue”) by damaging their genetic material, making it impossible for these cells to continue to grow.
After completing your post graduate degree in this field you will become–
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Radiation Oncologist
- Radiation Therapist
- Radiation Therapy Technologist
- Teacher & Lecturer
- Technical Executive
However, there are not many Indian institutes that offer this course, few institutes such as PGIMER Chandigarh and OM Sterlin Global University offer this course.
Good Luck
