know the list of subjects based on marks as per given in previous years exam papers.

Buy  previous year question papers and make sure they are with solutions .

note down the syllabus and check number of questions asked in each subject(check the weightage).

Allot certain time for each subject and if you start with certain chaper in a subject make sure you finish that subject and note down all the important points related to that topic.Then solve the questions related to that topic from previous years papers.

repeat the same for all the chapters in all the subjects.

Nothing is impossible in the earth if you have faith in yourself. If you start your Gate preparation now, you have very less time to complete. So, you have to utilize the time and concentrate fully on subjects. If you follow certain youtube channel,then you have to make a time to watch videos. Divide 4 months by no of videos and devote your time to them. Work hard and hard. you will definetely go to the top.
